Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit serving a diverse patient population including respiratory, COPD, chest pain, CIWA, and observation patients pending stress testing
• Independently read and interpret cardiac rhythms, confirming and validating telemetry readings placed in the chart by the central monitoring unit using GE monitors
• Titrate drips including cardizem and amiodarone per protocol
• Collaborate with nurse aides and patient care techs to coordinate patient feeding, blood glucose monitoring, bathing, toileting, and lab assistance
• Float to all three campuses as needed
• Fulfill weekend shift expectations of 5–6 shifts per 6-week period and participate in holiday rotation (A, B, C team schedule)

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing (or compact eligibility)
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency in telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience titrating vasoactive or cardiac drips (e.g., cardizem, amiodarone)
• Ability to work night shifts and meet weekend/holiday scheduling requirements

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with GE telemetry monitoring systems
• Experience working across multiple units or campuses
