Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments including interviews, bedside checks, and lung capacity evaluations
• Administer aerosolized medications, perform chest physiotherapy, and maintain patient airways
• Set up, monitor, and manage mechanical ventilation for patients in intensive care or requiring life support
• Provide emergency care including intubation and CPR as part of rapid response teams
• Perform and interpret blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests
• Educate patients and families on managing chronic lung conditions and operating home medical equipment

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Active and valid state licensure to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in Oklahoma
• Experience with ventilator management in an intensive care or acute care setting
• Proficiency in emergency response procedures including intubation and CPR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience performing and interpreting pulmonary function tests and arterial blood gas analysis
• Background in patient and family education related to chronic respiratory conditions
• Prior experience working with rapid response or code teams
