Job Title

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Long Term Care

Location

Hilo, HI | Long Term Care / Skilled Nursing Facility

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Rotating / Varied Shifts (based on census and facility need)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and administer medications and treatments
• Notify MD/NP of pertinent patient information in a timely manner
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Provide gastrostomy tube care, urinary catheter care, and nebulized treatments
• Deliver wound vac care and CPAP care as assigned
• Proof of flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start date

Required Qualifications

• Active LPN/LVN license valid in the state of Hawaii
• Experience working in a Long Term Care (LTC) setting
• Ability to work varied rotating shifts based on census and facility need
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required before start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with wound vac and CPAP care
• Familiarity with gastrostomy tube and urinary catheter management
• Strong communication skills when interfacing with physicians and nurse practitioners
