Job Title
Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Location

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 4 weekend shifts/month
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to laboring patients in a 9-bed L&D unit with 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and a 3-bed OBED
- Maintain patient ratios of 1:2 and collaborate with a laborist team model including 24/7 in-house midwives, dedicated CRNA, and on-call OBGYN
- Perform and assist with unit procedures including OR circulating, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, postpartum hemorrhage management (JADA system), and nitrous oxide
- Document accurately using CPN and Meditech electronic documentation systems
- Support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities in alignment with individual patient preferences
- Float to mother/baby or outside department to task as needed per unit floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Fetal monitoring certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Familiarity with Spinning Babies techniques
- STABLE program certification or training
- Experience with couplet care and breastfeeding support practices
- Prior experience in a laborist or team-based OB care model
