Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Observation (Night Shift)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Observation unit during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients in accordance with facility protocols
- Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes in condition, escalating care as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document all patient care activities and clinical findings in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
- BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience
- Ability to commit to a 13-week travel contract with a projected start date of September 28, 2026
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Observation unit setting
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems commonly used in acute care environments
