Registered Nurse – LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Start Time: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM | Projected Start: 10/19/2026

Key Responsibilities

• Hold shift accountability for providing patient care utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
• Demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of care
• Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff; provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Provide care to LTAC/Telemetry patients, including those requiring ventilator and tracheostomy management and central line monitoring

Required Qualifications

• Active Tennessee RN license or multi-state compact RN license (must be provided at time of submission)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required — must be issued through the American Heart Association and attached to submission
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in LTAC or a related setting
• Demonstrated experience with ventilator and tracheostomy management, as well as knowledge of central lines
• Ability to manage patient ratios of up to 6:1

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Wound care experience is preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems used in acute care environments
