Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / OB OR

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Alternating Weekends | No Call Requirement

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 32-bed Labor & Delivery unit maintaining a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
• Perform and assist with procedures including SVD, cerclages, C-sections, and TOLAC
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including Novii, JADA, Fetal Pillow, IUPC, FSE, Toco, and ultrasound
• Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications throughout the assignment
• Demonstrate SVE competency and C-section circulation skills

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Texas
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
• Demonstrated competency in Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) and SVE
• C-section circulation experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Internal monitor placement competency
• Previous experience in a Level IV or high-volume Labor & Delivery unit
• Prior experience with HCA-affiliated facilities
