Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | 11:00 AM – 11:30 PM | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population including traumas, STEMIs, stroke, cardiac, GI, psychiatric, and pediatric cases
- Manage patient assignments across varying acuity levels including pod, critical, and fast track areas
- Operate within a 22-bed ED utilizing Cerner EHR for documentation and patient management
- Maintain expected patient ratios of 4:1 for pod patients, 2:1 for critical patients, and 6:1 for fast track
- Participate in weekend coverage with an expected 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period
- Adhere to facility dress code requirements; scrubs in any color or print are acceptable
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- ACLS certification required prior to submission
- BLS certification required prior to submission
- TNCC certification required prior to submission
- PALS certification required prior to submission
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma nursing experience
- Pediatric emergency care experience
- Familiarity with Cerner EHR
- Team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable personality with a strong work ethic
