Emergency Room Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and evaluate progress toward patient outcomes
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide safe, patient-centered care
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members using critical thinking and independent judgment
- Provide health education and information to patients, families, and the treatment team
Required Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Minimum of two years of recent Emergency Room or acute care experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor — Required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification — Required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification — Required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification preferred
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Prior experience in a Level IV trauma center or acute care facility setting
