Job Title
Intensive Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnosis, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment
- Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and identify adjustments to the plan of care as needed
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to provide safe, patient-centered care
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients and families
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- Minimum of two years of recent ICU or acute care experience
- Proficiency with Epic electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience in a Magnet-designated facility
- Strong critical thinking and supervisory skills in a high-acuity environment
