Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical (Nights)

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit serving a high-volume acute care facility
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions throughout the night shift in a fast-paced inpatient environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Support a facility that treats a large annual patient population, including a high-volume emergency department
- Adhere to all Joint Commission accreditation standards and facility-specific protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in West Virginia or a compact state
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Surgical nursing experience
- All required certifications must be obtained and verified prior to start date
- Client reserves the right to require additional certifications beyond those listed
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an acute care setting
- Familiarity with Rapid Response protocols
- Experience in a Joint Commission–accredited facility
