Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

Phoenixville, PA | Outpatient Rheumatology
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Temp-to-Hire | Onsite | Monday–Friday, core hours between 7:45 AM and 5:00 PM (flexibility expected; schedule to be discussed during interview)
Key Responsibilities
- Room patients and obtain vitals; perform phlebotomy as needed
- Utilize EMR to notify providers that patients are ready for their visit
- Review and document past medical, surgical, family, and smoking history, as well as allergies and current medications
- Perform front desk duties including greeting patients and scheduling visits
- Manage clinical phone communications
Required Qualifications
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential required
- Minimum of 18 months of Medical Assistant experience in a physician office setting
- Candidates must be able to commute to the practice in 30 minutes or less
- Candidates must be open to converting to a permanent staff position upon contract completion
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC EMR is strongly preferred
- Prior experience in a specialty outpatient setting (e.g., rheumatology or similar)
