Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within a 24-bed acute rehabilitation and post-acute unit
- Manage a patient assignment of approximately 6–8 patients per shift
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams to support patient recovery and functional progress
- Monitor, assess, and document patient status, progress, and responses to treatment
- Implement and adjust individualized care plans in alignment with rehabilitation goals
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or compact eligibility
- Experience in rehabilitation, acute rehab, or post-acute nursing settings
- Ability to manage a caseload of 6–8 patients in a fast-paced rehab environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an acute inpatient rehabilitation unit
- Familiarity with post-acute care protocols and interdisciplinary team collaboration
- Strong assessment and documentation skills within rehabilitation nursing
