Travel RN – Emergency Department

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Every other weekend expected | Projected Start: October 26, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 30-bed Emergency Department (plus 8 hall beds) with a 1:4 patient ratio on night shift
- Perform and assist with procedures including NIH stroke assessments, IV placement and blood draws, moderate sedation, TNK administration, and cardiac monitoring
- Operate and monitor equipment such as Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
- Collaborate as a team player within a multidisciplinary night shift team including charge nurses, RNs, paramedics, and LVNs
- Adhere to facility dress code: royal blue scrubs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ENPC certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR
- Demonstrated compassion and empathy in a fast-paced emergency care environment
