Key Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services in both inpatient and outpatient settings within a critical access hospital environment
- Conduct home safety evaluations, wheelchair evaluations, workstation evaluations, and driving assessments
- Address conditions including fine motor deficits, hand/wrist/elbow/shoulder injuries, sensory deficits, generalized weakness, and cognitive impairments
- Deliver cognitive retraining and daily living skills training to support patient independence
- Perform fall prevention assessments and provide adaptive equipment training
Required Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in the State of Nebraska or a Compact State
- Active BLS certification issued through the American Heart Association
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a critical access hospital setting
- New graduate candidates will be considered
- Familiarity with a broad range of OT treatment areas including pulmonary rehabilitation support, cardiac rehabilitation, and surgical recovery
