Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days | Alternating shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM and 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM | On-call required: 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Perform interventional radiology procedures across a 5-suite IR lab, including neuro and vascular interventional cases
- Support a comprehensive stroke center performing procedures such as stroke intervention, aneurysm treatment, and subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) management
- Assist with Level 1 Trauma Center procedures including GI bleeds, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, and nephrostomy placements
- Operate advanced imaging equipment including Siemens bi-plane and single-plane systems
- Document and manage patient imaging data using Meditech EMR and GE Centricity PACS
- Fulfill on-call obligations including 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Interventional Radiology Tech experience
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced interventional lab environment with rotating on-call responsibilities
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in neuro interventional procedures including strokes, aneurysms, and SAH
- Expert knowledge of vascular interventional radiology procedures with the ability to work with minimal guidance
- Familiarity with Siemens bi-plane and single-plane imaging equipment
- Experience with Meditech EMR and GE Centricity PACS
