Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Contract | Days | 4×12-Hour Shifts (7:00–19:30) | 36 or 48 hours/week options available
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a 1:6 patient ratio
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes using Epic
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes in clinical status
- Adhere to facility policies, compliance requirements, and unit-specific protocols
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal)
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience
- Proficiency with Epic EMR
- All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Medical Surgical inpatient setting
- Familiarity with travel nursing compliance and onboarding processes
- Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into new clinical environments
