Travel Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | Alternating shifts: 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM and 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | On-call required: 1 night per week and 1 rotating weekend per month with possible holiday coverage
Key Responsibilities
- Perform Interventional Radiology procedures within a 5-suite IR lab, including Neuro and Vascular interventional cases
- Support a Comprehensive Stroke Center performing procedures such as stroke intervention, aneurysm treatment, and subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) management
- Assist with Level 1 Trauma Center procedures including GI bleeds, embolizations, gastrostomy tubes, and nephrostomy placements
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment including Siemens Bi-plane and Single-plane systems
- Document and manage patient imaging using Meditech EMR and GE Centricity PACS
- Participate in on-call rotation, including nights, weekends, and possible holiday coverage
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months of current acute care hospital Interventional Radiology Tech experience
- ARRT (R) certification required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in Neuro Interventional procedures including strokes, aneurysms, and subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH)
- Expert knowledge of Vascular Interventional Radiology procedures with the ability to work with minimal guidance
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced interventional lab environment
- Strong teamwork and collaborative work style
