Travel RN – CVICU (Days)

Contract | 11-Week Travel Assignment | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 3×12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a blended ICU/CVICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio, serving adult and geriatric populations
- Manage complex cardiac and critical care diagnoses including STEMI, NSTEMI, CABG, valve repair/replacement, acute respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and trauma
- Operate Baxter infusion pumps and document care using the Medhost EHR system
- Perform and monitor CRRT as well as support patients undergoing TCAR and TVAR procedures
- Float to the Intermediate Care Unit as primary RN and provide coverage for admitted patients holding in the ED on an as-needed basis
- Respond to call requirements as defined by unit needs
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid for practice in Arizona
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale
- Minimum 2 years of ICU/CVICU experience
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with CRRT, TCAR, and TVAR procedures
- Familiarity with Medhost EHR
- Experience in a Joint Commission Accredited or Certified Chest Pain Center environment
- Comfort floating between ICU and Intermediate Care Unit settings
