Registered Nurse – CVICU (Travel)

Contract (13-Week Travel Assignment) | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Three 12-hour shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) setting
- Monitor and assess critically ill cardiovascular patients, identifying and responding to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Illinois or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- Prior experience in a CVICU or cardiovascular critical care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with ventricular assist devices (VADs) or IABP management
- Previous travel nursing experience
