Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Circulator)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 14 Weeks | Days – 4×10-hour shifts, variable start time | On-call required (8 shifts per month, including some weekends) | Weekend on-call coverage expected (Friday 5PM – Monday 7AM) | Holidays required on a rotating basis
Key Responsibilities
- Perform circulator duties in the operating room across orthopedics, OB/GYN (including C-sections), and general surgery cases
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment throughout surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure efficient patient care and procedural flow
- Participate in on-call rotation, including weekend and holiday coverage as assigned
- May float to procedural areas such as pain management and interventional radiology as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Kansas RN license required
- AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of OR circulator experience including orthopedics, OB/GYN (including C-sections), and general surgery
- New graduates are not eligible for this position
- This is a nicotine-free facility; candidates must comply with nicotine-free policy

Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of OR circulator experience
- Previous travel nursing experience is a plus
- Experience with EPIC EMR is highly preferred
