Registered Nurse – CVOR

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:00–16:30) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures in the OR setting
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes throughout all phases of cardiovascular surgery
- Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic
- Adhere to facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of onboarding and orientation modules
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (State or Compact) — must be in hand at time of submittal; license hits not accepted
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
- All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
- Previous staff employees must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
- Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this assignment: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Level I experience preferred
- Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical protocols and sterile technique in a high-acuity OR environment
