Behavioral Psychology Therapist – Behavioral Health

Contract (13 Weeks) | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | No Weekends | No Holidays
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, group, and occasional family therapy services to a Medicare/geriatric patient population through an Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) and Geriatric Psychiatry setting
- Treat patients presenting with conditions including Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), and Adjustment Disorders
- Facilitate group therapy sessions accommodating up to 12 patients, with current enrollment typically resulting in smaller group sizes
- Float to the Senior Wellness Program as needed within the same facility
- Participate in community outreach activities, including a monthly grief support group and other community events as needed
- Document patient care using electronic health record systems; EPIC charting experience preferred
Required Qualifications
- Active licensure required: LMSW, LLMSW, LPC, or LLPCMinimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
- Ability to comply with facility infection control policies, including masking requirements for staff who decline flu and COVID vaccination during applicable seasons — compliance is mandatory with no exceptions
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working with geriatric patients is highly desired
- EPIC electronic health record charting experience
- Candidates with prior contract experience in colder climates (Midwest, Northeast, Mountain regions, etc.) are preferred for winter start dates to ensure reliability through weather events
