Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical

Contract | 13 Weeks | 12-Hour Variable Shifts | Rotating Schedule | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit, delivering safe and effective nursing interventions
- Work rotating 12-hour variable shifts, including every other weekend and holiday rotation
- Float to additional affiliated facilities as needed; floating may be prescheduled in advance
- Be available for on-call assignment during low census periods, with applicable on-call pay
- Adhere to all facility infection control and vaccination policies, including masking requirements during flu season when applicable
Required Qualifications
- Active Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) License
- AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Willingness to float to multiple affiliated facilities within the region
- Must live outside a 50-mile radius from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a multi-site or float pool nursing environment
- Familiarity with low census protocols and on-call expectations in a hospital setting
