Respiratory Therapist – ED / Neuro Diagnostics

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Weekends as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy services in an Emergency Department setting on night shifts
- Perform and support neuro diagnostics functions as assigned
- Float to affiliated facilities as needed
- Maintain compliance with all facility-required annual competencies, modules, and credentialing requirements
- Complete BCI/FBI fingerprinting within 48 hours of contract signing
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Active Ohio RRT license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Active NBRC certification — must be in hand at time of submission; nothing pending
- Active BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission; nothing pending
- Must pass a negative 10-panel drug screen including nicotine (cotinine) — facility is smoke-free and nicotine-free; no exceptions
- Two professional references from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty, from assignments worked within the past 12 months, are required; co-worker references will not be accepted
- Local candidates are welcome and accepted at the same rate
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department respiratory therapy role
- Experience floating across multiple units or facilities
- Familiarity with neuro diagnostics procedures
