Registered Nurse – Emergency Room / Urgent Care

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:30) | Onsite | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a combined Emergency Department and Urgent Care setting serving both adult and pediatric populations
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4 across all shifts, including weekends
• Perform triage and conscious sedation as required by department needs
• Function in a Charge Nurse capacity as needed
• Document all patient care accurately using Epic/Excellian electronic health records
• Work every third weekend as part of the standard schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license — no pending licenses accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Emergency Room or Urgent Care nursing
• Required certifications: ACLS, BCLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Proficiency with Epic/Excellian charting system
• Charge Nurse experience, conscious sedation experience, and triage experience required
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible — locals are not accepted for this position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for both adult and pediatric emergency/urgent care patients
• Familiarity with high-acuity, fast-paced emergency department environments
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ED or UC setting
