Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Acute Care)

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct inpatient nursing care to Medical Surgical patients within a Critical Access Hospital setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including hospitalist physicians and ancillary staff to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient status, interventions, and responses to treatment throughout the shift
- Adhere to Joint Commission Accreditation standards and facility-specific policies and procedures
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Michigan or compact licensure eligibility
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical nursing
- Current BLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM)
- Must meet travel nursing eligibility requirements
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Critical Access Hospital or rural acute care environment
- Familiarity with swing bed or post-acute inpatient care workflows
- Experience working within Joint Commission Accredited facilities
