Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor patient care plans in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols
- Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate
- Serve as primary coordinator across all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
- Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma or compact eligibility
- PACU specialty experience required
- Ability to apply critical thinking skills and exercise decisive judgment with minimal supervision
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a post-anesthesia care or surgical recovery setting
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and interdisciplinary care coordination
