Job Title
Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 4 weekend shifts/month | Projected Start: September 28, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to laboring patients in a 9-bed L&D unit with 3 swing rooms, 2 ORs, and a 3-bed OBED, maintaining a 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with unit procedures including circulating in the OR, IUPC, FSE, MgSO4 administration, postpartum hemorrhage management using the JADA system, and nitrous oxide administration
- Support patient choice and promote vaginal birth opportunities in alignment with individual patient preferences
- Document accurately using CPN and Meditech electronic documentation systems
- Collaborate with a laborist team model including 24/7 in-house midwives, dedicated CRNA, and on-call OBGYN
- Float to mother/baby or outside department to task as needed per unit floating policy
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Fetal monitoring certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Spinning Babies training or familiarity
- STABLE program certification or training
- Experience with couplet care and breastfeeding support
- Familiarity with high-risk delivery environments and NNP collaboration
