Job Title
Travel RN – NICU
Location
McKinney, TX | NICU – Level III
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting
- Operate and monitor specialized equipment including BCPAP and HFNC
- Attend deliveries as required, including C-sections
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech and CPN systems
- Maintain patient ratios and collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
- Participate in self-scheduling and float to other units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License — temporary licenses will not be accepted
- BLS certification required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- Minimum 2+ years of hospital/specialty experience in a NICU setting
- Level III NICU experience required
- Ability to attend all deliveries, including C-sections
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech documentation system
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team player in a fast-paced NICU environment
