Travel RN – Emergency Department

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM | Every other weekend expected
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 1:4 patient ratio across a 30-bed unit with additional hall bed capacity
- Perform NIH stroke scale assessments, IV placement, and blood draws
- Administer and monitor moderate sedation and TNK therapy as indicated
- Operate and manage equipment including Baxter IV pumps, GE monitors, ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, Belmont Rapid Infusers, and portable EKG machines
- Conduct cardiac monitoring and respond to changes in patient condition
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Texas or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ENPC certification
- Prior experience with Meditech EMR
- Experience with moderate sedation and rapid infusion protocols
