Key Responsibilities
- Perform clinical and administrative duties as directed within a Medical Assistant scope of practice
- Assist clinical staff with patient care procedures, including those requiring sterile field technique
- Support day-to-day clinical operations during day shift hours
- Document patient information and interactions accurately within the electronic health record system
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant training program within 12 months of service
- CPR certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- National Medical Assistant Certification preferred
- Current nursing student or Paramedic background preferred
- Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Knowledge of sterile field procedures and additional clinical techniques preferred
- Epic electronic health record experience preferred
