Job Title
Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting, including assessment, triage, and treatment of acute and critical patients
- Perform and assist with procedures including conscious sedation, intubations, behavioral health watch, sepsis management, stroke care (TPA administration), and chest pain/heart alert protocols
- Utilize the Meditech electronic documentation system to accurately record patient information and care activities
- Float to other units as needed in accordance with facility floating policy — all travelers are required to float; candidates will be informed of the floating policy during the interview process
- Adhere to facility dress code standards including navy scrubs, natural hair color, no acrylic nails, and covered body art
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN License — temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room experience
- PALS or ENPC required
- ACLS required
- BLS required
- TNCC required
- NIHSS required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification
- Prior experience with Meditech documentation system
- Strong teamwork and communication skills in a high-acuity environment
