Sonographer – Pediatrics

Key Responsibilities
- Perform echocardiographic studies across the full spectrum of diagnoses including fetal congenital (22+ weeks), pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography
- Provide coverage across NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU settings
- Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
- Recognize and triage emergent clinical situations
- Provide written communication of findings to cardiologists
- Maintain equipment and manage logging and billing of procedures
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric sonography
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience with ECMO procedures
- Extensive understanding of congenital and non-congenital heart disease
- BLS certification required
- ARDMS registration required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography preferred
- Fetal echo experience encouraged
- Adult echo experience a plus
- Familiarity with Epic EMR, PACS Fuji, and CV Synapse systems
