RN – Obstetrics / Labor & Delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for OB/L&D patients across the full continuum, from pre- to postpartum
• Care for both mother and newborn throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process
• Support a unit averaging approximately 15 births per month
• Provide Med/Surg patient care as needed when OB census is low

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or compact eligibility
• Experience in OB/Labor & Delivery nursing
• Ability to care for both maternal and neonatal patients across all stages of the perinatal period
• Ability to flex to Med/Surg patient assignments when OB unit census is low

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a low-volume OB setting
• Comfort with cross-training to Med/Surg environments
