Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process across all assigned areas
- Assess patients upon admission using appropriate interview techniques to obtain past medical history, current medical status, vital signs, lab work, x-rays, and other diagnostic tests
- Plan and implement written care plans under the direction of a Physician
- Administer medications safely, applying visual acuity and hand-eye coordination standards
- Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient confidentiality at all times
- Interact positively with the care team and patients, respecting individual culture, lifestyle, religion, and age when planning or implementing care
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an approved School of Nursing
- Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse (RN) license required, or eligibility to obtain
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required

Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Prior clinical experience in an Emergency Room or specialty setting
- Specialty certification in Emergency Nursing or related area
- Membership in a professional nursing organization
