Key Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with all cardiac invasive procedures, excluding structural heart cases
- Must be able to scrub cardiac and peripheral cases, including PCI/STEMI
- Assist with peripheral procedures including carotid, A/V grafts, EVAR, and peripheral diagnostic and intervention cases
- Manage an expected average of 8 cases per day across 2 lab suites
- Participate in on-call rotation averaging approximately 12 days per month, including at least one weekend (Friday 1730–Monday 0700); expected response time of 30 minutes
- Document and manage patient information using Cerner EMR
Required Qualifications
- RCIS or CVT certification required; scrub experience for PCI/STEMI required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab experience required
- Radiology license not required
- Candidates must not have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any facility within the CommonSpirit health system, including CHI and/or Dignity, within the past year; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms may be considered
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with a broad range of cardiac and peripheral interventional procedures
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-volume cath lab environment
