Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients admitted to the intensive care unit
- Manage and monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation
- Administer and titrate vasoactive medications in accordance with physician orders and unit protocols
- Deliver and coordinate life-sustaining treatments for hemodynamically unstable or critically ill patients
- Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary care team
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Prior experience in an ICU or critical care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with mechanical ventilator management and weaning protocols
- Familiarity with vasoactive and vasopressor drip titration
- CCRN certification or pursuit of critical care certification
