Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled perioperative nursing care within a cardiovascular operating room environment
- Scrub and/or circulate for cardiovascular surgical procedures
- Respond to on-call requirements, including weekday and weekend call shifts as scheduled
- Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain ACLS certification and adhere to all clinical protocols and standards of care
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- CVOR experience required
- ACLS certification required
- Ability to fulfill on-call obligations: expected call coverage includes 5 weekday shifts (16 hours each) and 2 full weekends (48 hours each) per 4-week schedule
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience scrubbing and circulating for a variety of cardiovascular procedures
- Strong ability to function effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity surgical environment
- Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical instrumentation and equipment
