Job Title
Intensive Care Registered Nurse (ICU RN)

Sonora, CA | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | Expected 36–48 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data to determine diagnoses, care issues, and develop individualized care plans
- Implement care plans, coordinate care delivery, and employ strategies to promote patient health and a safe environment
- Evaluate patient progress toward outcomes and identify goals specific to each patient’s situation
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to deliver care in a safe, healing, and compassionate environment
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care and provide health education to patients, families, and treatment teams
- Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members using critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification
- Minimum of two years of recent ICU or acute care experience
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior experience in an acute care hospital setting
