Stepdown Registered Nurse (RN) – PRN Days

Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a critical care stepdown unit
- Monitor and assess patients transitioning from intensive care, identifying and responding to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, care provided, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kansas or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Prior experience in a stepdown, progressive care, or critical care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
- Familiarity with critical care stepdown protocols and procedures
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
