Registered Nurse – ICU (Trauma)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days, 4×12-hour shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Trauma ICU setting at a Level I Trauma Center
• Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio within a 16-bed unit
• Document patient assessments and care accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity critical care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact) — must be in hand at time of submittal
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience, with Level I Trauma ICU experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this position: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification preferred
• TNCC certification preferred
• Experience floating across ICU, IMC, and Telemetry units
