Registered Nurse – ICU (Medical-Surgical ICU)

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (19:00–07:00)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical ICU setting with a 1:2 patient ratio
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation using Epic
- Monitor and assess critically ill patients, responding promptly to changes in condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Adhere to facility protocols, compliance requirements, and onboarding obligations as outlined by the contract
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (State or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal)
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- Candidates residing in the following Texas counties are not eligible for this position: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
- Previous staff must wait 1 year before returning to this facility as a traveler
- Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- NIHSS certification preferred
- PALS certification preferred
