Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and skilled nursing setting
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Monitor and assess resident health status, documenting changes and communicating with the interdisciplinary team
- Support and maintain a safe, comfortable environment for residents during night shift hours
- Collaborate with nursing staff and facility leadership to ensure continuity of care
Required Qualifications
- Active RN (Registered Nurse) license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting
- Ability to work night shifts in an onsite environment
- Must live at least 80 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with geriatric and rehabilitative patient populations
- Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
