Job Title

Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Night Shift

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: July 20, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services across adult, NICU, and pediatric service lines within an 854-bed acute care facility
• Operate and manage a variety of ventilators and respiratory equipment including GE R860 adult vents, Draeger infant/pediatric vents, Newport HT70 transport vent, V60 non-invasive devices, and Vapotherm/Comfort Flow high-flow oxygen devices
• Document patient care and treatment accurately using the Cerner EMR system
• Float to all critical care units and general floors as needed
• Manage patient ratios ranging from 10 to 25 patients depending on assignment and shift
• Participate in a rotating weekend schedule, with at least 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active North Carolina Respiratory Therapy License
• RRT – Registered Respiratory Therapist credential (required)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (required)
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Ability to wear medium gray/pewter scrubs per facility dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Experience working in NICU or pediatric respiratory care settings
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR
