OR RN – Scrub/Circulator (Days)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts, expected 40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, effective, and quality patient- and family-centered care throughout the perioperative period
• Perform scrub and circulator roles as required within the operating room
• Assist in the recovery room (PACU) as needed
• Communicate effectively with all members of the perioperative team
• Maintain a high degree of patient confidentiality in accordance with organizational standards

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Maine
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certification required for PACU assignments (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Minimum of 1 year of medical/surgical or perioperative nursing experience
• Basic computer skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CNOR certification preferred
• Prior experience in a scrub and/or circulator role within a surgical setting
