Job Title
Registered Nurse – Methadone Clinic
Location
Danvers, MA | Outpatient
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Tuesday–Friday, 2.5 hours per day (6:00 AM–8:30 AM or 7:00 AM–9:30 AM) | Expected 72 hours biweekly (on-call hours not included)
Key Responsibilities
- Administer methadone doses to patients with Opioid Use Disorder using onsite dispensing pumps in an outpatient treatment setting
- Safely manage medication administration and monitor patient response and effectiveness
- Provide skilled, high-quality nursing care to adult patients under the direction and supervision of the OTP Nurse Manager
- Perform direct and indirect patient care duties in collaboration with other clinical staff
- Document patient care activities using Epic EMR
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required
- Minimum of 1 year of consistent methadone dosing experience required
- Experience working with adult patients diagnosed with Opioid Use Disorder
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Full-time methadone dosing experience preferred
- Familiarity with outpatient treatment program (OTP) workflows and protocols
- Experience with Epic EMR
