Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Garden City, KS | Medical Surgical / Outpatient
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy assistant services across Medical Surgical and Outpatient settings
- Float between Med Surg and Outpatient therapy units as needed
- Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist to support patient recovery and functional goals
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately using Epic EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure continuity and quality of patient care
Required Qualifications
- Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA
- Ability and willingness to float between Med Surg and Outpatient units
- Proficiency with or ability to quickly learn Epic EMR
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a Medical Surgical hospital setting
- Prior experience in an Outpatient therapy environment
- Travel assignment experience preferred
