Job Title
Occupational Therapist (OT) – Travel Contract

Wichita, KS | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform occupational therapy evaluations for patients across a high-volume acute care setting with approximately 250 active consults per day
- Deliver OT treatments with a typical caseload of 8–10 patients assigned per OTR per day
- Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy in clinical decision-making and care planning
- Document patient care using the Meditech EMR system
- Utilize general acute care DME as appropriate for patient needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of acute care hospital occupational therapy experience
- Active Kansas (KS) OT licensure required
- BLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma experience in an acute care setting
- Comprehensive stroke experience
