Job Title
Travel RN – Labor & Delivery
Location
Asheville, NC | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients, including vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
- Manage high-risk obstetric patients with a 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio
- Perform immediate newborn care following delivery
- Utilize Baxter Pumps and Philips electronic fetal monitoring equipment
- Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink
- Float to MFMU, MOMB, and NICU units as needed
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in North Carolina
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
- High-risk obstetric experience required
- Immediate newborn care experience required
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
- BLS and/or ALS certification required
- Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Circulating experience in Labor & Delivery
- Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited to a fast-paced L&D environment
